The teleconferencing application Zoom has pretty much become a verb since the start of the 2020s, and one of the most ubiquitous announcements made by the app is “recording in progress.”
But what kind of recording?
We’re doomed to repeat history if we don’t learn from it, so school teachers tell us, but who writes the history is just as important as the act of documenting. Storytellers have been doing that for ages, but in age where science, technology, engineering and mathematics reign supreme, stories are treated as analogs to history, not history itself.
